Apple fitness plus family plan problem

I signed up for apple fitness plus and I’ve added my wife to a family plan. But every time she opens the fitness app, she cannot access any of the workouts and it says “try for free”. When she selects it, it prompts her to pay for a subscription. This is very confusing. I’ve checked to make sure it’s right Apple ID and everything is showing correctly in our accounts. I also tried restarting the phone and updating the software. What should I do? Should I go ahead with the payment process even though I’ve done it on my account?
