Configuring Junk Mail in Preferences is to small for use.

I'm having a heck of a time with junk mail and am wanting for it to go directly to the trash. However, the Preferences window is too condensed for me to choose the option. Where it says "Perform the following actions" I have no options. I tried to delete the conditions, but it did not make a difference.

Junk email button I’d love for an option to click (or two-finger tap) on a particular junk mail piece and be given choices like: Automatically delete all future emails from this address. Automatically delete all future emails whose address contains ___________. Automatically delete all future emails whose subject contains the word ________ in the topic. I know these possibilities are buried in Mail’s preferences, and I use many of them, but each one is 30 seconds out of my day. If, in the interface of the Mail app, there were a button to tap while highlighting a junk email, a two-finger tap set of choices, or, even better, a “macro” that gave a choice to direct Mail to delete automatically future emails from all the addresses currently in the Junk Mail folder, that would be wonderful. Anything like this currently available that I don’t know about? Any way to request Apple to make this upgrade for the next OS? Thank you!

Do I need to keep junk mail in my junk mailbox for it to 'Learn' The junk filter is working really well, but I was wondering if I need to keep the mail that ends up in the Junk mail box or does the filter 'Learn' because I have clicked the Junk button in the past? Thanks! Clayton

Hi Lauren Rench,

If you quit Mail with Mail > Quit, and reopen, does this window work properly?

What about a restart of the Mac?

Yes! Of course it did, sometimes I forget that restarting cures so many of my computer ailments. Thanks!
