Viber won't send or receive images and videos

Hi all,


I just got a brand new phone - iPhone SE 2020, and have installed Viber on it.

No matter what I try, including reinstalling the app and deactivating/activating my account, I cannot send or receive any photos or videos, audio messages and GIFs.

It happens constantly, I have tested it with different Viber users and the result is the same. The problem occurs on both my mobile network (4G) and over different WiFi networks.

Sending/receiving photos and videos over iMessage and Signal however works just fine.

Access to the photo gallery, camera, microphone, contacts and location have been fully granted to the Viber app.

Please, give me an idea/suggestion on how to fix this very unusual (in my opinion and experience) issue.

Hi all,


Latest Viber update v.14.6.1 solved the issue for me, hope it does the same for all affected.
