Recover permanently deleted folder

Dear friends and expertise.

Help!

I did not know which 3 buttons I had pressed on the keyboard and had permanently deleted one folder with documents inside from my Macbook Pro. Could not find it in Trash Bin. How can I recover this folder?

Would appreciate your sharing.

Thanks!

Command Z typically will undo the last command.

If you are past that, navigate in the Finder to where you would expect to see your folder— and simply enter your Time Machine

from the TM icon in the upper right menu bar. It stores local snap shot on your HD.
