2 level authentacation and homepod
My HomePod stopped responding after I went to 2 level authentication. Before that no problem. Now it says to update your iCloud account password on my iPhone or iPad.

It might be your wifi.
Reboot your wifi router
You might need to reset HomePod and set it up again Reset will restore it to factory settings. Try it by pressing the top as instructed in the Reset link
Note: If you have two HomePod speakers set up as a stereo pair, you'll need to ungroup the stereo pair before you can reset HomePod.

It just wants you to sign in again on your other devices you’ve not used in awhile, or since you made the change,
After you’ve done that, if it doesn’t work you can ry to restart it with the Home app.
I have two HomePods. I did the restart like you said but it still does not work. Before it saw my HomePods in my devices. Now they do not show but it does say devices not responding in the Home screen.
