Hi are apple planning on selling a MagSafe charger with a longer cable.
1m cable will not be long enough for me.
I need a cable that will be about 2m.
I don’t want to buy the charger yet (although for a phone that cost £700 it should come with one) because I need a longer cable.

We have no idea what plans Apple has for product releases..
Are you planning to use this with an iPhone 12?
I have a couple of suggestions that might work for you..
I've been using Anker products for years, they have great products and customer service is easy to work with.
(Apple also sells Anker products)
I noticed that they have their own version of the MagSafe charger and it has a 5 foot cable

Also you could consider using a charger with a cable rather than a wall charger. This would effectively extend the cable for you.
(I'm assuming your issue is lack of a nearby outlet)

you could also search Amazon (or wherever) for a USB C extension cable and make sure it has 1 male 1 female end.
I didn't really see any brands that I recognized, so I'd be hesitant to go that route myself.. but it's certainly an option.
