Yes, and there is software out there that says that it should work with macOS 10.6 and later. That is a disservice to customers as it does not forewarn incompatibility with later operating systems which frequently happens, as in your case.

It is macOS, not iOS, and are you using the latest version of MKPlayer that they suggest for macOS High Sierra? Have you tried the free VLC media player as an alternative to determine if it plays the content that MKPlayer cannot?
Thank You, VLC works. Still do not understand why it says "Incompatible software" using MKPlayer. Looking to the spec. for MKPlayer 1.4.2 it says it should work on mac OS from 10.10 High Sierra.
