Why my mac slow down after upgrading to big sur

Hi everyone,

So basically i do not why but after upgrade my mac to big sur i feel uncomfortable.

I have the impression that the system works slower and heats up much faster

I am give u example:

On Catalina i had running Visual studio Code and the application in Chrome. Everythings was perfect.

No fan, No lags. Now on Big Sur i do same things and fan is running, Additionally sometimes I feel lags during switch screen using touchpad 3-fingers move.

I do not why this happend..

So how can i prevent all this weird stuff after Big Sur?

Is downgrade to Catalina will helps?

It depends just how long ago Big Sur was installed ! It is normal for a New macOS to be a little slower as it is indexing everything on the computer. So give it a few day to complete this process. So good idea to keep plugged in to save the battery. If upgraded some days ago, a good start would to open Activity Monitor in the Other Folder in Launchpad and click View >> View All Processes and see if there is a run-away- process hogging the CPU or Memory.

Important - Are all installed Apps up-to-date, do some apps require updates / upgrades to make compatible with Big Sur. Also, is there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaners, Optimizers etc installed? These types of apps inferrer with the normal operation of the S and are not required. They basically are worthless on macOS and can corrupt the OS. remove them as per Developers Instructions.
