iPhone 11 Pro Max battery health - 84%

Okay, long story short. I bought the device specified in the title in April last year. Battery was going strong until IOS 14 came about. I updated, downloaded a notes widget and my battery was being consumed like crazy. The widget was using 77% of the battery at one point until I deleted it and Apple support ran through some diagnoses. Ever since then, my battery health has been getting worse every day. I just sent it to Apple for a replacement battery as I’m still within my one year rights and they just emailed me that they found no issue and it is on its way back 😂😂😂 are they joking? Down to 84% in 9 months. It took my 8 plus 2 years nearly to hit that. How can a dodgy widget be my fault? Absolute jokers.

Anyone got any advice. If I could head to a store to talk to a person I could but they’re all closed.

They wouldn’t replace it under the 1 year warranty unless it dropped down to 80% or below so they are correct. As it stands there isn’t anything wrong with it. The rate that a battery health will drop is not based solely on time so you can’t really compare how long it took an older model to get low versus this one. Keep an eye on it and if it hits 80 or less before your warranty ends you would be able to pursue a replacement. Otherwise...you would have to pay to replace it yourself. I’m keeping an eye on my sons iPhone 11 because it’s hovering at 84% but he has AppleCare+ until this November so I know we’re covered if it does get to 80% or less between now and then
