trade in phone lost in mail

I recently traded in my iPhone 7 Plus. I received an email saying it will be sent back to me because it was rejected. I received a parcel yesterday (similar to the box where I sent the phone to apple) very light in weight and one of the flap was open. when I opened the box it was empty. I tried contacting customer service after so many tries I managed to speak to an agent. he said somebody will contact me thru email to respond to my problem. what is the fastest way to contact apple?

Was this directly from Apple or one of their third party partner companies? If it was not Apple, you should immediately contact the shipper. You have already contacted the shipping company (UPS, Fedex, USPS or ??) - they are the ones who "lost" it. Keep the box and take pictures of it.

Even if it was sent back from Apple, it is still the shipping company that lost it. So you need to contact them. After that, contact Apple - start with the support phone number and explain the problem.
