Search in iTunes Store not working

I used to be able to search for a song in the iTunes store, find it and purchase the song.

The search bar "IN" the iTunes store is gone... now the search bar is on the side/dashboard and it only searches in the music player (which I have no interest in subscribing to)...

How do I search for music in today's iTunes Store???
