My tablet says location unknown but online. Can i turn it on remotely

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, you are not able to locate your iPad using Find My because it is saying that the location is unknown, is that correct? If so, this is not something that can be activated remotely. You would need to turn on your location directly from the iPad settings.

Turn Location Services and GPS on or off on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
