"Phone is not responding. Please reconnect it and try again"

Hi

My wife bought a Kia Rio 2020 model and now has a problem with Maps it keeps relaying the message "Phone is not responding. Please reconnect it and try again" every 5-10 mins .

This only started after an Apple iPhone update.

On the other hand My 2019 Toyota Camry Ascent Sport does not have any issue.

Are you seeing this on the Kia infotainment system with your phone connected via Bluetooth, or is it in the Apple CarPlay interface? When you see the message, are you using turn-by-turn directions in Maps? I ask because I've encountered a similar issue with CarPlay, but I have a Corolla and an aftermarket head unit.
