Apple watch won't vibrate when new whatsapp message is received

Hi,


Yesterday I upgraded my old iPhone 8 to the new iPhone 12. Since then I am experiencing problems with my watch. I have disconnected my watch from my previous phone and connected it to my iPhone 12 as a '''new device''. The problem I have is that my watch will not vibrate when I receive a Whatsapp message. When my watch is disconnected, my iPhone does wake up when whatsapp message is received so i don't see a problem with my phone settings.


Hapic touch is on and on ''prominent''

Notification volume is on ma


Yesterday evening i reset all my phone settings to standard and that fixed it for the evening, but when i restarted my Watch this morning the vibration was not there anymore when a new whatsapp message is received. And I do not want to reset all the settings over again as you can imagine :)



Anyone that can help with this?

To clarify, are you missing all notifications for WhatsApp on the Apple Watch, or are you hearing sound notifications but no haptic? Are you getting haptic notifications for any other apps? This will help us better isolate where the problems is happening.
