How many iphone devices can be on one itunes account

I already have an iphone and ipod touch on my one laptop and have the one itunes on the laptop. I am wondering if I can put another iphone onto the laptop and sync it to the itunes without whipping anything off the computer or the iphone and ipod touch already on the account. I NEED HELP PLEASE. X

You can sync as many devices as you can afford. Give them distinctive names to avoid confusion. You won't wipe anything from your computer. iTunes will recognize each device as unique.

Now what about this. Person A is married to Person B and there is only 1 computer. Can Person A have their own login and access to their playlists and Person B have their own login and access to their playlists which would be different than Person A's with 2 different libraries?
