iPhone 12 silicone case

I have been using a brand new iPhone 12 silicone case for about a month now and it is already showing wear. All four corners and sides seem to have rubbed off. Anyone else having this issue? Does Apple stand behind the durability of their cases? Does this warrant an exchange for a different case?
