Hardware support in ipados 14.4

Most of the support documents I can find only list hardware support for ipadOS 14. Did apple drop support for older devices around 14.3? If so, is there an updated hardware list somewhere?

I have a 5th gen iPad with 14.2 on it and I'm trying to figure out if I can go any higher or if I have to buy a new iPad to keep getting security updates.
