MacBook spots on screen
I have tiny spots, marks on my screen that I can remove with my nail, but Im wondering if there is better solution to get rid of them. They are very visible in in direct light.

Sometimes you need to use an LCD screen cleaner to remove stubborn dried on liquid residue. While Apple and many contributors will say this is bad, I have used it on Mac screens for years without any problems. Sometimes you need something a bit more than a cloth dampened with water.
I also like to open the display lid and flip the laptop so the back of the display is flat on the table with the bottom of the laptop & palrmest up in the air. This way I'm pressing my microfiber cloth onto the display which won't move allowing me to do a better job of wiping the display. Just don't press too hard or you could crack the glass or LCD Panel. Be sure to hold the bottom of the laptop to keep it from falling over since the majority of the laptop's weight is now in the air.
Once in while I've been forced to use a mild solution of Windex to remove very stubborn grime. You would be amazed at how dingy & grimy some laptops are. Yes they can be that disgusting.
