I just spilled water all over my water

I just spilled water all over my MacBook Air.

I dried the surface off right away left it faced down and keeping the computer off. What else can I do??

Right now, when I click the trackpad it makes sounds that makes it clear that there is water inside.

I am going to book an appointment with Apple genius but what can I do till then?? Or have other peoples macs been okay.
