My dad gave me his Apple Watch and he’s out of town I restarted the Apple Watch but when I try to connect it, it’s keep on saying Apple ID pasword and I don’t know the password and I asked my dad he DOSNT also knoe

he needs to take following steps

What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Apple Watch, or buy one from someone else - Apple Support


if he does not remember his appleID password If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
