Is the passcode they want to know the appleID passcode? I am so confused!

What dose communities username have to do with appleID password? Are they different

To login to Apple Support Communities you will use your AppleID and AppleID password.


You will not use your device's passcode, which is different in most cases (and definitely should be) from your AppleID password.
