iPhone 12: Bluetooth malfunction

New iPhone 12. Earbuds and Bluetooth carkit are having issues connecting. Earbuds: I seems to connect but volume indicator doesn’t show them. iPhone starts to work slowly, YouTube app crashes and music starts to play on iPhone speakers after I connect. I tried resetting, repairing etc. Nothing works. Earbuds work fine on iPad Pro. Both have 14.4


also connection to Parrot carkit is not okay. It doesn’t connect automatically and doesn’t sync contacts anymore.


I upgraded from iPhone 8 and had never any issues with both Bluetooth devices.

Hey Albert,


Let's work on this further to determine our nexts steps. It's important we isolate what apps and features this happens on. Since you are using multiple bluetooth devices, try testing with only the iPhone and check if that helps. You may be experiencing wireless interference.


If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open these steps can help. This will help us determine exactly what apps are working as expected.


Last use the steps How to contact an app developer to report what is going on. This may be related to the app software itself.

Thanks 4 your answer. Unfortunately I already tried al those steps. In the meantime I've figured out that disabling Bluetooth on my Apple Watch 5 helps somewhat. It pairs. Stil, connection is nog flawless, many dropouts and also my carkit still doesn't pair properly. What I cannot understand is why this wasn't an issue with my older iPhones (6, 6s, 8, XR). There are many other users with iPhone 12 that complain, so it seems some issue with this particular iPhone and backward compatibility. In other words: I hope that these complaints help Apple to resolve the issue in future updates.
