Iphone phone can be hacked

Load of old nonsense. You can get to the calculator by pulling down control centre, but not in landscape. And you cannot initiate screen recording without unlocking the phone. If you press the button it demands face ID or passcode. So you cannot have screen recorded this if the phone was locked.

So...sorry...I'm calling BS on that one.

There is no such thing. I have tried on both my iPhone 6 iOS 12.5.1 and iPhone SE iOS 14.4.

You've been conned... to begin with, it is impossible to open the calculator app at all if the phone is not already unlocked...

Can't reproduce, my 12 on iOS 14.4 won't go into landscape mode when in Calculator while locked.

This internet legend has been floating around for years. It's not true.

I don't know what you are trying to prove with your screenshots.. they don't show me anything that would indicate what you're saying is true. Just shows Control Center and the calculator app.

My phone does not do this, I tried after reading your post. In fact there is a bug that shows the calculator scaling completely hosed if i try to access it in landscape orientation with the phone locked.

If you can reproduce this, then report it to Apple. I still think you're unlocking it with Face ID somehow..

it's probably catching a view of your face and unlocking with Face ID

I just tried this, I can't initiate a screen recording without the phone being unlocked.

When I hold my phone at such an angle that Face ID can't see me, pull down control center and press screen record.. it says i have to unlock the phone. It will not start recording

I covered my front facing camera completely. Still unlocked my 11 Pro Max.
