how do i back up my phone using the computer only?

- Connect your iPhone to Mac or PC.
- If your Mac runs macOS Catalina or Big Sur, open Finder. If your Mac runs macOS Mojave or earlier; or if you are on Windows PC, open iTunes.
- Trust the computer if asked.
- From the Summary tab, click on Back Up Now. You may have to choose 'This Computer,' if not already.
- Your computer will backup your iPhone.
