How to stop flash SMS messages on iPhone

I've been receiving Flash SMS to my iPhone 8 plus which has iOS 14.3 installed.

They seem to be legitimate and coming from my carrier, warning me about not being able to make certain types of calls with my current plan.

They're coming in at a rate of 10/hour and are draining the battery of my phone because the screen stays on until I dismiss the message.

I've searched on online forums how to block them/cancel them but all of the instructions I found direct me to select items in my phone's settings which are not available.

My carrier tells me they're not responsible for them and can't block them.

Please Help!?

Below is the message that appears when I tap on "more info" on the flash message.

I just spoke with my supplier and apparently the issue is that my phone is trying to communicate with an Apple server in the UK using my SIM card (I'm not in the UK). Because I've deactivated options to make calls abroad or receive MMS for which I may be charged, I keep receiving this message. The message says that my phone is not being able to receive certain messages, but if I activate this setting, then my credit will be depleted by messages I don't want to receive. Apparently it's a common issue with iPhones...
