I want to delete a mail account from my iPhone
The thread was last answered in 2017 and the answer no longer seems to apply. With the new operating system settings no longer has a line to add or delete mail accounts. You can add an account on mail but not delete one. Any ideas??

Settings>Mail>Accounts>select the appropriate account>Delete Account.

Do you have a corporate management profile installed on your phone? If so, you may not have the option to delete it.
Contact your IT department.
Thank you for your reply. I can get to the account I want to delete by following Settings>Mail>Accounts>select the appropriate account> but I do not have an option for “Delete Account”.
