How to get CBS All Access app on AppleTV to recognize my TV provider(in my case Verizon FIOS)? I select to ‘Sign in with TV Provider’ select continue and the asterisk is spinning forever, never giving me an access code. All other AppleTV apps connect fine. I have uninstalled the CBS app multiple times to no avail.. Any thoughts?

JDO, Thanks for your feedback. I had already setup the single sign-in for my TV provider, and it works for every AppleTV app I have downloaded, except for CBS All Access. I even downloaded the CBS app to my iPad and was able to sign into my provider and watch the app on that device. Yes, I realize I could screen mirror my iPad to my television and watch it that way, but why should I have to take those extra steps? I never get an access code from the CBS app, it just hangs up when I hit the ‘continue’ button to sign in by using my TV provider. I even looked for a CBS app help but was only able to find the robot chat which was useless... It is like the CBS app can not get my TV provider info from AppleTV.
CBS is purposely doing this to make you pay even more for their “all access” subscription. No other explanation given that no other app has this issue. All their doing is losing ratings, because there’s no way I’d pay for the service when I already have a cable subscription.
After getting no good help on this, I bought an Amazon Fire TV. I’m able to login with my cable provider easily and simply on the Amazon Fire Box with the CBSAllAccess app. I don’t know who’s to blame for the confusion on this, but as of now Apple, you’re being punished. Amazon Fire TV all the way.
