iCloud sync passwords problem

When I start iCloud on a PC, choose to sync passwords, then click on Apply, I get a blank popup window with a Cancel button plus a blank button. This is for Version 12.0.186.0 from the Windows 10 Store.


I don't know if this is a case of white text on white background, but changing the Windows theme from dark to light does not fix this.


NOTE: In the image below, dark grey areas are information that I've edited out for privacy reasons. The light grey button actually looks like that.

The dialog window appears if the iCloud Passwords extension isn't installed in the browser, and probably asks you if you want to install it, or for permission to do so. Clicking the blank button opens up a browser window on the above extension and gives you the ability to install it.

We're glad to hear that you're able to access the installation window by clicking the blank option. If you continue to experience the same issue, you should also try reinstalling iCloud for Windows again to see if it helps. Here's a article you can check out: Set up and use iCloud for Windows

We see that you're seeing a blank pop-up option when you try to sync your iCloud password, and we'd like to help!


Have you also tried restarting your computer to see if it helps? Are you experiencing this issue with another pop-up window?


We also recommend that you test this out with another user account if possible, to further isolate the issue.
