I have put my SIM card into another Apple phone an need to clear everything out of the other phone will it have any effect on the phone I am currently using? Both are Apple Iphones. One has SIM card in it and the other does not.

I have put my SIM card back into my old iPhone and need to erase everything from my IPhone 8. How do I do this and will it have any effect on the phone I am using now with the SIM card in?

To wipe a phone Settings, General, Reset, Erase all content and settings.
