Iphone 6 Plus won't update past 12.5.1

How might I update to a more current iOS? I've done everything and even had Apple Support go through all recommended processes with me.

Sherman ~ It cannot be updated further:

iOS 13 and iPadOS are compatible with these devices

...found by searching Apple's Knowledge Base.
