Why I’m being charged for iTunes. I’ve never subscribed to it.

iTunes itself is free, so that's not the issue.


However, through the iTunes Store (and, subsequently, the App Store), it's possible to download and install applications on your iPhone/iPad, and it's possible one of those apps has a monthly subscription charge associated with it.
