how to add channels that you already pay for to apple TV +

I am already paying for several services like hbo, cbs but I can't figure out how to add those subscriptions on Apple TV+. It does give an option to purchase a new subscription but I don't want to pay for them twice. So how do I add those accounts to Apple TV+?

I have the Apple TV app on several devices, on the mac, iPhone, iPad and PS4. I do most of my "TV" washing on the PS4 as its easy one stop place and its on the big screen.

It is kinda short sighted of Apple not to let subscribers of other lines(that Apple includes as choices) not use their subscription on the Apple TV+ app. Shame. Wish Steve was still around. Probably won't keep the Apple TV+ subscription since I have to switch apps to see what else is on.

On what device do you have the Apple TV app?

Apple TV app Channels have their own type of subscription, and that won’t be exchangeable with subscriptions for streaming services as started outside the Apple TV app. You will have to make a choice for either type of subscription, and view using either the Apple TV app or a separate content provider app, on all the devices where you want to access this.
