How do I delete my apps ? Why is this so hard suddenly ?

These apps are not built in. All purchased .
BTW it is illegal under EU law to fail to offer a deletion of user data. I just came across my ten year old purchase history, which I can also not delete.
So I did that. I turned off "screen time". Which I never turned on. I also restarted the phone.
I can now delete the apps from the Home Screen, IF they are on the Home Screen. I also deleted a few in "Account" "updated recently ". here delete works.
But I still have apps deep inside my iPhone which I had not used for ten years. I only just found them again, which is not good for privacy.
The "hide" the app option makes no sense to me. What is the point ?
Please check: Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions - iTunes & App Store Purchases - Deleting Apps = Allow.
did that. Thank you.
But where do I delete them now? after switching this option on.
all I can do is "hide" the app. Deletion is not an option. Why ?
I restarted the phone and the deletion option is now available for a very limited number of apps, only about 20%.
Built in apps can not be deleted.
The purchase history can only be seen by you.
Turn off screen time and try again.
There is no way you can use a ten year old app. They were not moved from your ten year old device.
I give up here and your other posts.
You are correct. The app is no longer. But the app purchase history goes back ten years. That is what I meant.
