I just received my brand-new iMac Retina 21.5” 6-Core i7, and it’s lovely. However, it came with a very outdated wired keyboard and the old-school Mighty Mouse (model #A1152). The box was factory-sealed, and the computer is exactly to the specs I ordered, but somehow an antique mouse from 2005 was packed with it. Anyone else get one of these museum pieces with their new Mac?

Could be! It just seemed weird to have a computer from 2019 paired with accessories that were discontinued years earlier. Not that I'm complaining. I had an overwhelming burst of nostalgia when I opened the box, seeing a mouse I hadn't seen since I got a Magic Mouse over a decade ago. Takes me back to a simpler time...

The company I work for ordered it through CDW.
FWIW, apparently the Apple Mighty Mouse (wired) was manufactured until June 2017. I had no idea. CDW has old stock perhaps?
Actually it's still one of my favorite mice. I wish it was still available.
Anyone else get a Mighty Mouse with their new iMac?
