My iPhone 11, which I was not currently using with a phone service went missing back in May or June. It is synchronized with my iPad. I have used the app Find My Device but cannot locate it. Whoever has my My iPhone 11 is missing. There is no code for the lock screen. It appears a young person is using my phone. My iPad is in sync with my stolen iPhone. You can't track a device by the serial number or IMEI.
