Desktop icon lost
I accidentally deleted the Google icon from the desktop and now I can’t get it back.

You must mean the Dock toolbar at the bottom of your iPhone screens.
- You will need to re-download the Google app from the App Store
- Locate the page on the phone where the app was downloaded (it could be any page, you may have to swipe left to find it)
- Long-press and the Google app until it giggles and drag it to the Dock
