Desktop icon lost

I accidentally deleted the Google icon from the desktop and now I can’t get it back.

iPhone 12, iOS 14

You must mean the Dock toolbar at the bottom of your iPhone screens.


  1. You will need to re-download the Google app from the App Store
  2. Locate the page on the phone where the app was downloaded (it could be any page, you may have to swipe left to find it)
  3. Long-press and the Google app until it giggles and drag it to the Dock
