personal hotspot diappeared after verizon hotspot was disabled

don't know how to get personal hotspot back on iphone 10.

I tried the verizon hotspot just to see how it would help me in my new residence before I could decide on a right internet service. I didn't think it did much difference, and so I removed it. But after removing it, I noticed the original personal hotspot disappeared. and when I go into cellular it allows me to set up personal hotspot, but when I click it, it takes me to a page linked to verizon.

So my original hotspot was locked by my carrier verizon. how can i reverse it?
