Unable to Verify Update 14.4

Downloaded Update 14.4 but install failed due to repeated Unable to Verify Update 14.4

Spot on ! Thank you. I normally leave all updates on WiFi, in fact most updates require WiFi. This is the first time I had to switch to cellular to complete update during “Verifying Update” phase. Many thanks as all other “non-Apple” community or websites sent me down bigus rabbit holes.

You need to be connected to the cellular network with cellular data on to verify the update.

If it’s Wi-Fi only there should be no problem verifying it over Wi-Fi. Only iPhones need to be connected to a cellular network to verify. Even cellular iPads don’t need to be unless there is a SIM in them.

On my iPad (7th Gen) - its a WiFi only - no Cellular plan with it. So, is there a work-around?
