Mac support number

This is for general FYI of our experience.

My wife IMAC computer suddenly locked up and had a message that it was infected with Trojan horse and that we should not try to unlock or shutdown because all data will be gone. It ask to call Apple Mac support number * *** *** 4038 - a guy with middle eastern answered. We ask to verify if he is from Mac support but he just want us to press command. We decided it is a scam so we shut down the computer and opened again with no problem.
