Safari Autofill Not working

Does anyone have a problem when they are trying to use autofill on the M1 MacBook Air? It shows the username/password suggestion, so I would use my Touch ID as normal but it doesn't fill. It stays blank and the suggestion goes away as if it put the username and password in. I tried with my Mac password too and it still doesn't fill it in. Does anyone know a solution to this? I'm on version 11.2 and this happened to me on 11.1 as well

It still works fine in the main tab group on Safari (the one that cannot be deleted and is always there). I created two tabs groups that are synced between my laptop and iPhone. When I use cmd+shift+t in any of these groups, the recently closed tabs reopens for a second and then disappears instantly without any option to reopen it. Using Cmd+shift+t again reopens the tab closed before, but this new one disappears immediately as well... Any suggestions how to solve this issue?
