office 365 mail not working on mac mail

I've tried everything to get my new Office 365 email (through godaddy) to work on my Mac. It works perfectly on my iPad and iPhone but I can't get it going on the Mac. I've been through every "fix" and trick. I've tried installing as Exchange mail and Other mail. I've tried changing the servers as per instructions. Godaddy say they can't help. Has anyone found a fix for this issue?
