And if rebooting the iPad doesn’t resolve this, reboot the Wi-Fi router.
If rebooting the router doesn’t resolve this, are other Wi-Fi clients also having Wi-Fi problems?
If so, there may be Wi-Fi interference, or the Wi-Fi router may be misconfigured or failing.

I would recommend going to settings:general:reset:reset network settings
This should clear any issue related to network settings that are damaged.
If that does not work, confirm back up, then use erase all content and settings under the same menu.
Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
Good Luck!
