I have a book, available in pdf format, available for downloading. I would like to turn it into an iBook, perhaps using Pages on my iPad, using the current iPadOS .
How can I do this? My iPad is not an iPad Pro, but a 9.7” iPad 5th generation version

Yes, just open the word version with Pages, edit, and export/publish.

I don't think your hardware matters. Apple does not accept pdf, so you essentially have to recreate your book in Pages, by copy/paste or some other means, and then export to epub format.

But it just makes things more difficult. Maybe I’ll copy the Word version to Pages, and go from there?
