CD/DVD Drive does not accept disc

Did you try an alternate Disc to test

Did you try cleaning the laser heads(?)

Old players can benefit from laser head cleaning...

they are sold about everywhere, Office Supply stores, on-line etc..

If the disc gets ejected right away before getting a chance to spin up, then either some foreign object has been inserted into the optical drive or the optical drive is bad. Try using another external optical drive.
