Confirm iPhone password Under Apple ID Suggestions

I have recently purchased a new iPhone XR and set it up with a new iCloud and haven’t made any password changes. I would like to know why I’m now receiving this request.

The screen shot shows you change the entry passcode, not the password.

That doesn’t make sense because I’ve only used one password for the short time I’ve had this phone. Should I be concerned about privacy?

I don't think that indicates anything is wrong because the passcode does protect your data.
