Control Center from Home Screen

Is there a solution to repair not being able to swipe down from the Home Screen to access the control center? This is for an iPhone X.

If you have a screen protector on and/or a case then remove both and see you can then get to the Control Center. Note that you may not be able to use the same screen protector after it has been removed.

See whether your iPhone X qualifies for the ➔ iPhone X Display Module Replacement Program

If none of the above is viable then have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Apple Authorized Service Center. If they are closed then please contact ➔ Apple Support

Just confirming that you are PULLING DOWN from the TOP RIGHT corner of the screen to display the Control Center. IF you are and the Control Center is not displaying then-

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
