Iphone XR Logic Board Problem

Hello all,

Just wanted to ask you all for your opinions on what could have gone wrong with my iphone XR. I got this phone brand new from AT&T, have no issues for almost 2 years but one month away for the 2 year mark the iphone just shut down and never power up again. Call Apple and make an appointment to an authorize shop in PR since there are no Apple Stores here. After the appointment the diagnostic was a damage logic board. The usage for this phone was almost identical to my previous iphone just by one detail, in my car I use a wireless charger since the Iphone XR is capable of wireless charging. Can this type of charging damage the logic board? Just looking for an explanation on why a fine iphone all the sudden dies. Thanks for your comments
