My screen had double images of all apps. Now the images are super light and hard to see. When i turn the phone off and back on the double images start and now they just have the image with bands of light.

i dropped my phone - it didnt hit hard and it was on carpet. then the apps on the phone double imaged themselves. now the images are singular and there are 4 bands of light that cover the screen making it hard to read. When i take a picture it photographs fine.

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2) If the above does not work then - your phone might need service ➔ Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support
