Disadvantage of esim

What are the disadvantages on using esim ?

any problem to my iPhone like heating up or hanging ?

Dose eSIM cause heat problem when signal bad? (sorry for my bad english in advance) After I change to eSIM, I've noticed that my phone getting hotter more often when I'm in bad signal area. my room is also bad signal, but I had no problem with heat when I used physical sim card It's only getting hot when the signal is bad not when good. Is there really connection between eSIM and heat in bad signal? I can't think of any other reason of this heat problem other than eSIM because nothing has changed.

Can I continue to use Iphone XR when it’s getting warmer and warmer , and even hot ? I noticed when I was doing video calls on Skype , the back if iPhone is getting warmer and warmer , and even to the point of hot , then I had to stop the skype call out of concern of heat permanently damaging my phone battery and phone itself , do we have any standard practice here like when to stop using and let it cool down ? Or heat up because of using skype video call doesn’t even affect the battery or phone in a bad way ?

I don't use the one on my iPhone, however I've not heard of those types of things reported here.
