Non responsive clear history button

The clear history button does not respond, any suggestions on how to get it operative again Thanks in advance ?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are unable to clear your Safari history on your iPad.


First, we recommend making sure that there are no restrictions enabled that would prevent Safari history from being cleared. You can find those restrictions from Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. Check Web Content restrictions specifically.


If there are no restrictions enabled, Restart your iPad, then try again.
